The shortcut menu preference lets you choose which secret types appear in the app menu; this is useful to hide secret types you don't use so you have a more compact menu.
You can always create and manage secrets of all types; this preference just controls the items in the app menu.
To customize the shortcuts in the menu, first scroll the menu and tap the Settings button.
Tap the Shortcut menu item in the Appearance section.
In the Shortcut menu preferences toggle the items to enable or disable the secret type in the menu.
If you disable all the secret types then the Types section of the menu is hidden.
