Custom fields are a great way to annotate your secrets with extra information when a secret type does not match your needs. You can add notes, links, attachments and passwords to any secret.
Create
Note
When creating or editing a secret tap the Add field button.
Tap the Note type to create a note.
Enter a label for the field and tap Ok.
A new field will be created and you can enter the value.
When you create or save a secret the custom fields will be saved.
Password
When creating or editing a secret tap the Add field button.
Tap the Password type to create a password.
Enter a label for the field and tap Ok.
A new field will be created and you can enter the value.
When you create or save a secret the custom fields will be saved.
Link
When creating or editing a secret tap the Add field button.
Tap the Link type to create a link.
Enter a label for the field and tap Ok.
A new field will be created and you can enter the value.
When you create or save a secret the custom fields will be saved.
Attachment
When creating or editing a secret tap the Add field button.
Tap the Attachment type to create an attachment.
Enter a label for the field and tap Ok.
A new field will be created, tap the field to select a file for the attachment using your platform's file picker.
After a file has been selected it's path is shown in the attachment field.
When you create or save a secret the custom fields will be saved.
Rename
To change the label for a custom field tap the Custom fields edit button ().
Then tap the overflow menu button () next to the field you want to rename.
Enter a new name for the field and tap the Ok button.
Afterwards the field label will be updated.
Your changes will be saved when you tap the Save button.
Delete
To delete a custom field tap the Custom fields edit button ().
Then tap the overflow menu button () next to the field you want to delete.
Tap the Delete button and the field will be removed.
Your changes will be saved when you tap the Save button.
