Use the password assistant to choose strong random passwords and keep your accounts safe. Tap on the icon to open the password assistant.
The password assistant icon () is shown on password text fields.
Use the dropdown menu to change the type of password, for example, if a web service requires punctuation choose the Random password type. Drag the Length slider to change the password length.
Tap the Use button to select a password.
Letters & Numbers
The default password type is a combination of letters and numbers.
Numbers Only
If you don't need letters you could choose numbers only but make sure the password length is large to maintain good password strength.
Random
Random passwords include punctuation which some services may require you to include.
Diceware Passphrase
Diceware passphrases are a random combination of words that can be more memorable than other types of passwords.
