Security alerts notify you if a password has been breached or if a password is not strong enough.
When the Password Check preference is enabled you may see a Security Alert like the one below.
This means that the password has been detected in a database of breached passwords and may be compromised. If you see this alert we recommend rotating the password by changing your password with the account provider and using a strong random password generated using the password assistant.
If a password is too weak then you will see a Security Alert like the one shown below.
If you see this alert we recommend changing your password with the account provider.
Use the password assistant to generate a new strong random password.
